Kerwin is the Associate Executive Director of Strategic Development for Interfaith Neighbors in Asbury Park, NJ and also serves the Martin Luther King Jr. Presbyterian Church of Neptune, NJ as a visiting minister. A graduate of the Alabama State University (Bachelor of Business Administration) and Princeton Theological Seminary (Master of Divinity), Kerwin has dedicated his life to human, community, and organizational development.
Kerwin previously served as the youth minister for two Baptist churches, the youth program coordinator for Next Generation Ministries (GNJUMC), Sacred Sector Fellow with the Center for Public Justice, and Education Specialist for Interfaith Neighbors. Most recently, Kerwin was the National Coordinator for Justice and Mission Engagement with the American Baptist Home Mission Societies.
Guided by his foundational scripture Romans 12:2, Kerwin seeks to educate, empower, and equip individuals, organizations, and communities to uncover and live out their purpose in accordance with the will of God.
