Staff Consultant
Kim has spent over 30 years walking alongside young people, helping them discover their worth, embrace their identities, and reach their potential. A “Navy brat” raised with a love for travel, new experiences, and diverse communities, Kim has lived around the world but now calls Athens, GA home. From early mission trips to a volunteer year in Belfast, Kim’s heart for service has shaped her path. She earned her Bachelors from the University of Richmond, a Master’s in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago, and a Certificate in Youth and Theology from Princeton Theological Seminary.
Kim has spent her professional life moving between non-profit work and church ministry, and currently serves as the Interim Director of Faith Formation for two congregations —growing one program and building another from the ground up. She is a leader in the Presbyterian Youth Workers Association, a curriculum writer, a coach for individuals and groups, and a systems thinker who loves a well-organized closet. Whether organizing a community event or guiding a youth through a crisis, Kim brings creativity, clarity, and a deep spiritual grounding to her work. She’s passionate about helping communities and leaders build sustainable, just, and grace-filled ministries.
Kim is married and the proud parent of three teens. Her life and work are rooted in her three core passions: youth, family, and justice—and she’s grateful to be living out a call that has been forming since childhood.
